The combined filter Carbon.Zeo KACL.963 by Falmec uses materials of natural origin , such as zeolite and activated carbon , to retain odors with maximum effectiveness.
Coal:
Activated carbons are materials containing mainly carbon in the form of graphite microcrystals, treated to obtain a porous structure with a large internal surface area. Thanks to these characteristics, they are able to retain many types of substances, attracting their molecules and absorbing them inside them.
Zeolite:
Zeolite is a mineral with a high ability to absorb organic compounds and water vapor. This property derives directly from the microporosity of its crystalline structure. Furthermore, zeolite, thanks to its chemical characteristics, releases heat in contact with humidity, reducing it. The use of zeolite is therefore very important both to reduce odors and to absorb water vapor resulting from cooking in the kitchen.
Long service life, easy maintenance:
The Carbon.Zeo combined filter has a very long life: it ranges from a minimum of 3 years to an average estimate of 5 years (with normal use of the hood). After 18 months it is also recommended to regenerate it by placing it in the oven at 200 ° C for two hours.
The Carbon.Zeo KACL.963 filter is compatible with the Quantum Easy integrated cooking system.
