The VIRGOLA NO-DROP TOUCH hood by Falmec is a model with a functional and elegant design , suitable for modern and minimal furnishing solutions, where the hood is inserted inside the wall unit, thus resulting in a total disappearance and guaranteeing maximum optimisation of space even in height: in the wall unit where the hood will be housed, in fact, there will still be some space around the appliance, which can be used as desired.

Shown here in the stainless steel version with a Scotch Brite finish and a width of 90 cm, the hood is equipped with a practical rotating tempered glass panel , with increased depth, with integrated touch control which, in addition to increasing the capacity to capture fumes and protecting the wall unit from heat and cooking vapours even in correspondence with furniture with deeper bases, in line with current trends, allows access to the various functions, including the control of the 4 suction speeds (3 + Boost) , without opening the furniture door.

The Virgola No-Drop Touch hood is also equipped with lighting integrated into the lower panel which, in addition to providing excellent illumination of the hob, can be modulated in tone and intensity; with the dynamic light function, in fact, the tone of the light can vary by choosing a colour temperature range from 2,700K , to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, up to 5,600K for a colder gradation, while the dimmable light allows you to manage the light intensity, decreasing or increasing the beam of light according to your needs: stronger, while cooking and softer, when you want to create a relaxed and atmospheric environment.

The hood is also equipped with an 800 m3/h motor , with a maximum flow rate of 670 m3/h, and "No-Drop®" technology that solves the problem of condensation, which can be unpleasant both during cooking and for the state of the humidity-sensitive parts that make up the kitchen; the No-Drop System technology, patented by Falmec, is a highly revolutionary system that consists of the use of a battery of cross-blade filters specifically shaped to capture the condensation particles coming from cooking vapours, which slide by gravity along an inclined channel, to then be conveyed into a special emptiable and removable collector , with the result of a healthier, more comfortable and pleasant kitchen environment. Furthermore, the filters are treated on the surface with a special coating that prevents the formation of condensation drops: in this way, the vapours are pulverised into micro drops that are distributed uniformly over the entire surface.
Maintenance of the No-Drop system is simple and practical, in 3 quick steps:
1) the liquids from the collector can be emptied with a quick movement;
2) filters are removable and can be easily washed in the dishwasher;
3) the collector can be cleaned quickly using a soft cloth.

Note: No-Drop filters with crossed blades, produced until recently by assembling metal elements, are now produced in a single body made from a mold in a particular technopolymer, suitable for use in the kitchen thanks to its properties (high resistance to high temperatures, dimensional stability and chemical resistance). This resin guarantees maximum resistance to the humidity of cooking vapors, avoiding possible alterations of the metal over time. Resistance to chemicals and the most aggressive detergents allows intensive washing cycles in the dishwasher even at high temperatures, for optimal sanitization. Furthermore, the curved shape of the connection surfaces reduces the possibility of dirt forming, avoiding accumulations and facilitating cleaning operations. The system for emptying the collected liquids has a new discharge mechanism, which makes the operation easier.
